BEST DAY EVER!!!!

Today was the best day ever. It started with a slow morning of family breakfast, and then today was going to be boat day!! Ole left early to prep the boat, and Solveig, Ludvig, mom and I got ready to meet him at the harbor. 

Nbd, just an amazing boat waiting to take us on an amazing trip. We climbed on and launched! We started in the fjord, but ended up out at sea. Like actually at sea. 

Open ocean!! We cruised around the coast for a short while, then came back to the fjords. We passed through an amazingly preserved coast town before docking a at a tiny cluster of islands for lunch. Oh, and the sea around us was filled with jellyfish!! Two different kinds! And so much sun. So. Much. Sun. After lunch I spent some time with Ludvig - he is two. We had broken conversations in English/Norwegian and it was adorable. 

After lunch we continued on our way to dock at the other harbor. Oh wait, nope - we were going to visit Nils and his family at their gorgeous summer cabin! For desserts and sun, conversation and trees. Sooooooo amazing. Their cabin was so chic and comfortable! Loved every moment. (Nils owns a lot of the land in Tvederstrand)

After family Nils took us to see his farm which was built in the 1600s!!! He also let us look at the cars he is restoring. At his farm. Built in the 1600s. :D my family is seriously cooler than your family :P

Ok kids, this day was incredible and we are switching to the other family tomorrow, so I'm going to go savor the rest of the time I have here :)
